The brainchild of platinum award-winning music producer Michael Levey, ‘Music Production Arts’ is a music school and recording facility located in Gowanus/Park Slope Brooklyn. As a music school, its mission is to help students realize their own sonic potential by mastering the process of music production within intimate, hands-on lessons. As a recording facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and Michael's extensive expertise in audio, MPA also provides high-quality services in engineering, arrangement, and mixing.
ABOUT MICHAEL
Michael Levey is a platinum award-winning New York City-based music producer, composer, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. Educated at Cornell University, Mannes School of Music/The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Michael has over 17 years of music industry experience. He has worked for such high-profile artists as Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry and Nile Rodgers as well as accumulated a long list of credits writing music for companies like Sony, Visa, and McDonald's. His work includes a diverse catalogue of genres such as pop, hip-hop, country, singer-songwriter, and jazz and his productions always stand apart for their originality and musicality.
